Very happy with this service and how easy it makes moving.
Only thing that went slightly wrong was one taxi box was popped on the slope on our driveway but because of the door it only opened half-way before the slope was in the way.
Even though access to our house was tricky (semi rural, up a steep driveway with nowhere for the truck to turn), the driver was sweet and patient with us. I love how taxibox keeps you informed all the time about delivery times. Their customer service is great, prices are really reasonable and being able to pack / unpack in your own time is so much less stressful than hiring a truck or removalists. Plus it's a bit like playing tetris, packing the box - and quite amazing how much one box takes.
This company made moving easy, we needed to move a lot of household items and a small amount of furniture interstate. The job was too small for a traditional moving company.
Taxibox delivered a box, I loaded it and they picked it up (as a side note the two drivers were happy to be doing their jobs)
In 10 days they will deliver it to my interstate address and I can unpack

From start to finish Taxi Box was absolutely perfect! We stored a box for 12 months whilst we sorted out our mother's belongings. The communication was efficient, payment system was excellent, and always prompt, courteous service. We could not recommend Taxi Box highly enough.
The people at TaxiBox were always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable to deal with. I didn't encounter any problems from the first point of contact. They moved my stuff from Brisbane to Melbourne and held it in storage for a few months, during which time I accessed it a couple of times. They then delivered it to my new home as scheduled and picked up the empty box, again as scheduled. It was easy, seamless and not overly expensive. My only concern was that the leadlight glass doors on a family china cabinet were damaged during the move, and I suspect that the packing company didn't take enough care in protecting it from other objects in the box. I'd happily use them again
Insurance, why is it recommended if storage is safe and secure. Access is very limited . Do not require ID just phone number and email. Return of belongings. You will be informed when you can get them, not when you want them. Staff make mistakes and only acknowledge mistakes when pressed. Delivery and pickup personnel are very good. Remember by doing a review and submitting it you are being required to meet there posting guidelines and terms.
The storage box was basic, and adequately dry and bug free. I had the smallest box and the cost was about $189 per month which I think is outrageous. The constant increases have at least paused at the moment, probably because everyone would bail if it were even more expensive !! $2200 odd bucks a year .. I don't think my contents were worth that much. Might be an option for someone short term.
I have had a 10/10 experience with Taxibox moving from QLD to VIC. Smooth, easy delivery, no damage to any of my goods and friendly service every time. Frank delivered our full container in a tricky street layout with no dramas whatsoever and was extremely friendly and helpful. Quick, easy, reliable. Taxibox is the way to go!

Ordering and receiving delivery of my taxibox was such an easy process. I received a text message to let me know when the team were on their way, and I was able to track how far away they were. Dan was great. He walked through where I wanted the taxibox placed and which way I would like it facing, and made sure it was level and stable before leaving. Dan was even very considerate of my lawn. Very happy with the service.
Frank was great. Friendly and courteous and took great care with placement. The two taxi box toy trucks for my watching grandsons has made him two friends for life!

TAXIBOX has to rate 10/10. From the first enquiry online in Melbourne, drop off, collection and delivery of the TAXIBOX to our address in Adelaide. We wondered where the TAXIBOX would go for the unpack, due to narrow streets and inclines. Driver Nathan had that sorted and made our job unpacking easy!
We took advantage of the “driver waits while we unpacked” service. All done in under 1/2 hour.
We were keep up to date with all movements.
