I had a great experience with TAXIBOX after another company said they couldn’t deliver a storage box to my house due to no stopping out the front. TAXIBOX advised they could park the truck in a nearby side street, and their forklift drivers are well-versed in handling tight and difficult access situations.
They were also very upfront about the monthly costs and delivery fee and clearly explained that even if delivery failed due to access issues, the $99 delivery fee would still apply — so the risk was mine. However, they could have also mentioned the $200 cleaning fee upfront. This was mentioned in the agreement but not on the phone. This is higher than the monthly rental.
Frank, the delivery driver, was excellent — a highly skilled forklift operator who delivered the TAXIBOX on time and positioned it perfectly in the desired spot, quickly and efficiently.
Positive experience overall.
I was worried the taxi box couldn’t get dropped at our apartment as it’s at the back of a narrow driveway off Toorak Rd. Thankfully, Frank was able to skillfully manoeuvre Toorak Rd in peak traffic! Great experience

My driver Frank was friendly٫ efficient and clearly covered everything I needed to know. He double checked everything٫ putting in effort to troubleshoot releasing the ramp (which had gotten stuck) and readjusting the door so that I could close it easily. I feel comfortable knowing my belongings will be in the safe hands of such considerate and capable employees. :)

And best of all he was friendly and informative as first time Taxibox users.
Made life easier when we packed up mum & dad's place as they were downsizing to a retirement home.
Taxibox was dropped off at their place and we were able to pack their stuff at a relaxed pace. Being able to store on-site made it worry free for them.
Once it was time to move, theTaxibox was picked up and delivered to their new home. No fuss, straight forward.
What a magnificent job Frank did, he was so friendly and accomodating. I have been a customer for many years and I look forward to the next time I need a Taxibox.

The delivery guy Eddie was great. Very prompt, put the box exactly where I asked him and walked me through the ins and outs of it. Very friendly and professional.
The rest of my experience has been great as well. The team is very easy to deal with and communicative.
Frank was so helpful in dropping off my Taxibox, he manoeuvred through a very narrow street to get it to the most accessible spot for me. Super friendly guy and the whole process was seamless. Would definitely recommend Taxibox to anyone needing storage. It’s much easier and more convenient than renting a unit.

I’ve used Taxibox moving from Sydney to Melbourne, and moving places within Melbourne. I love the flexibility with Taxibox, I usually get it 2-3 weeks out and slowly pack my things because it allows me to declutter and do it at my own pace. Having the Taxibox also means I don’t have to live with boxes everywhere for weeks leading up to the move.
Every driver I’ve had has been fantastic, just really friendly happy people, I think it’s a reflection of the culture at Taxibox. Today I had Frank who was very accomodating and spent the time making the drop perfect, thanks very much Frank and the team at Taxibox! Such a good idea and service. 11/10.
Great, easy communication courtesy of delivery driver Frank. They send you a link so you can where the truck is in real time and when it will be delivered, although you don’t need to be home for it. Great service from everyone at Taxibox, would not hesitate to use again.
