Your storage with TAXIBOX starts when we first bring your TAXIBOX out to you for loading, and it finishes when we collect your empty TAXIBOX once you’re all done. After your first month of storage, if you are emptying your TAXIBOX and go a few days into your next billing cycle don’t worry – we’ll give you a one-week grace period and won’t charge you any extra storage – nice! Please note that after your grace period the standard monthly storage rate will apply.

How it works

• John Smith is a happy TAXIBOX customer who stored 1 TAXIBOX, paying a total of $149 each month.
• John’s storage began on the 9th of May. This is the day on which is TAXIBOX was initially delivered.
• John ended his storage on the 14th of July. This is the day on which we collected his TAXIBOX empty.
• John’s final billing month started on the 9th of July, and he used 5 days of storage, but as this is under a week John will not be charged anything for storage in that final billing month.
• If John ended his storage on the 17th of July, he would have used 8 days of storage. In this case, John will be charged his standard monthly storage rate for that final billing month.

Pre-payers

If you’ve pre-paid for 12+ months to receive a further discount on your rates but have left storage early, we’ll simply re-rate the months you have used to our current monthly storage rate and refund you the difference between what you paid upfront and what you’ve actually used taking the above policy into account.
