What's the difference between Mobile Storage and Local Storage?
With Mobile Storage, we bring the TAXIBOX to you. You pack at your place, then we pick it up and store it securely.
With Local Storage, you bring your stuff to us at our self-storage site in Alexandria. You’ll then load it into your own unit and access it whenever you need.
Where is TAXIBOX Local Alexandria?
We’re at 21 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria – super central, easy to get to and about 11km from Bondi Junction (roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive under normal traffic). These are premium drive-up units so you can pull right up to your space between 5am and 10pm, 365 days a year. No need to call ahead, these units don’t move.
Can I access my TAXIBOX once in storage?
Mobile Storage: We deliver a TAXIBOX to your door, you pack at your pace. If you need physical access later, you can visit your TAXIBOX at our Greenacre facility.
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm AEST
Saturday: 8:00am – 1:30pm AEST
Heads up: we’re closed on Sundays and public holidays
Just give us at least one business days’ notice via the customer portal and we’ll have your TAXIBOX ready to roll.
Local Storage: You bring your stuff directly to our Alexandria site, drive up and load it into your unit. Access is available every day from 5am to 10pm, every single day of the year – no need to call ahead.
