Our Business Goals + Achievements This 2021

2021 was a BIG year of TAXIBOX, with demand for our services coming through in a variety of ways. We saw growth left, right and centre, and met more demand than we ever had before. It all went by so quickly, it was hard to keep up with all the goals we were hitting. So, in case you missed it: here’s how TAXIBOX business grew this past year, and how we’re planning on continuing to keep hitting goals this year. Bring on 2022!

New Facilities

We saw an increase in demand in 2021, with more TAXIBOX customers than ever in need of more space. To keep up with demand, we needed to find more space for our customers to store their belongings this year, which was a great excuse to paint more buildings TAXIBOX yellow down in Melbourne and up in Brisbane.

TAXIBOX Reservoir

It’s never been easier to get a TAXIBOX if you’re living in Melbourne, especially if you’re in the North of Melbourne where we’ve recently introduced our new facility: TAXIBOX Reservoir. The extra space has allowed us to increase our delivery network and provide more capacity for deliveries in the area. Big wins!

TAXIBOX Ormeau

Any customers living on the Gold Coast can now reap the benefits of an expanded delivery network, easy access, and more delivery capacities – all thanks to our shiny new storage facility in Ormeau.

On top of all that, we also got to move into our big, brand new Brisbane HQ in Banyo, QLD this year. It’s been a big year for TAXIBOX real estate.

New Operations

With a big year, comes big plans for new operations. After a lot of planning, we saw some big TAXIBOX business ventures come into play this past 12 months.

Local Storage by TAXIBOX

We’ve spent the last decade of TAXIBOX deconstructing the self-storage industry as we know it, and creating an updated and improved service in the process. We’re always trying to find new ways to improve our customer experience, especially when it comes to convenience and flexibility. This year, we launched a whole new business model to do exactly that.

Introducing Local Storage by TAXIBOX: a new, innovative action plan for operating storage sites across Australia. By taking advantage of space in inner-city locations, our new microsites provide convenient storage without all the hassle. With 24/7 gated access, state-of-the-art Bluetooth locks, and more, our customers can now experience TAXIBOX like they never have before. Learn more about Local Storage by TAXIBOX here.

Expanded Commercial Services

While we worked on expanding our existing services to include our new Local Storage by TAXIBOX, we took a look into how else we could improve TAXIBOX for Business, and increase our commercial opportunities more than we ever have before.

We now set up all of our commercial clients with their own dedicated account manager, to make sure we’re going above and beyond to meet all of our clients’ needs.

New Products

We’ve always invested a lot of time into improving our tech and products. This year was no different. We introduced some pretty exciting products this year.

All-New Bluetooth Locks

We committed a lot of our time and energy this past year into improving TAXIBOX technology. We don’t like to play favourites, but our all-new Bluetooth locking technology has got to be up there with the best products we launched in 2021.

Our Bluetooth locks are completely keyless, and operated entirely via an app on your phone. No need to worry about lost keys or ungranted access when you’re in complete control. It’s a first for the construction and building industry in Australia; it’s all steam ahead from here.

TAXIBOX Containers

While we were working on improving the services we offer to our commercial clients, we decided to go bigger than ever before. Introducing… TAXIBOX Containers, in 20ft and 40ft sizes.

TAXIBOX Containers are available in all the areas we currently service, and they’re exclusive to our commercial clients. Our Containers offer a variety of features to make your business ventures easier than ever, find out more here.
